2025/26 Summer season
This program is specifically designed to teach the correct fundamental techniques required to play basketball.
Children aged 4 – 7 years old learn the fundamental skills of basketball in weekly sessions over a minimum 12-week program. Sessions are held at the Trinity Ford Stadium, 289 Aumuller Street, Manunda on Saturday mornings from 8am – 9am. The Tiny Taipans program is the perfect way for new players to learn the skills required for a life-long association with the game from experienced high-level players & coaches.
It’s the club’s hope that by teaching kids the correct fundamentals early on, it may help create Taipans players in the future right in our own backyard. Come and try basketball for $17.50 per session – simply pay on arrival!
You can purchase a Tiny Taipans Singlet in person from the Cairns Basketball office. Purchase of a singlet is compulsory.
